The internet has lots of “resources” for being an AMERICAN IN BRITAIN… well, I guess because there is a demand for it. (In an older post I did mention that there are over 200,000 of us Americans here on this tiny island!!)
Sadly, though, a lot of this information is useless droll and websites that are trying to sell you something. There are a lot of “ex-pat forums” that just want you to click on their moving-van ads. Or self-serving blogs about rich Americans moving to Chelsea (not reality!) or patronizing sites that tell you to “make sure your visa is valid” before entering the UK… (like, duh?)
So, I did a bit of research for our 2,601 readers to find something unique and AD-FREE. After all, in this economy of the credit crunch and it almost being Christmas, we need a good-hearty-belt-busting-take-the-piss-about-living-in-Britain-as-an-American-style-laugh.

No, I haven’t found any other website quite like this one, i am afraid!I do wonder who put it up… because its so incredibly funny. Mr. Chill and I were rolling around in giggles while consuming our Marks and Spencer’s Quiche.
I really liked the tips where if one were to follow their advice, they would get their bums kicked!
But the best part of understanding this website is that you really need to be an American in Britian to understand the humour in it– otherwise it would go right over your head!
