A laugh for you Americans in Britain, because you might need it today

The internet has lots of “resources” for being an AMERICAN IN BRITAIN… well, I guess because there is a demand for it. (In an older post I did mention that there are over 200,000 of us Americans here on this tiny island!!)
Sadly, though, a lot of this information is useless droll and websites that are trying to sell you something. There are a lot of “ex-pat forums” that just want you to click on their moving-van ads. Or self-serving blogs about rich Americans moving to Chelsea (not reality!) or patronizing sites that tell you to “make sure your visa is valid” before entering the UK… (like, duh?)
So, I did a bit of research for our 2,601 readers to find something unique and AD-FREE. After all, in this economy of the credit crunch and it almost being Christmas, we need a good-hearty-belt-busting-take-the-piss-about-living-in-Britain-as-an-American-style-laugh.
But if you still don’t believe me, here is just a sampling of the sarcasm from this anonymous website…. but now really, go see it for yourself!
“You will find British people very polite. Here are some of our quaint phrases; if you learn them before visiting Britain, you will be able to understand us much better, and soon will be talking “like a native”!
