Welcome to our blog, about life in the North of England as an American woman in the UK. You see, there are tons of American women in Britain, and we need an outlet to rant. Cry. Rave. Complain about our English in-laws, Be homesick, and wonder why the kettle needs descaling so often.

Us three gals are not your usual Yorkshire lass’s. We are all tied to the area because we all have one thing in common, our British men. Either married, engaged, or just in permanent couple-dom (that last one is me) we are tied to this little island in the north sea.

By the way, nice to meet you, A bold brazen American gal is me, and  living in Yorkshire one of the area’s harpists.  Yep, that means I make my income from teaching harp, playing harp, harping at weddings, my life is that!
This has not been an easy thing to do when you don’t have a class to fit in to the British caste system, are American and are FEMALE for starts. Keep up to date with my experiences here!–peacefully Yorkshire
